Freedom to display Let me explain the situation. I was driving home from work, and I noticed by the side of the road propped up against a tree, an large (we will say 12x12 plank of wood) With the writing "Stop the Demise of the world!! Stop The Obama Crimes" It was painted in red paint and the paint had dried so it was like blood dripping.
Now my question is, should this blatant act and sign against our president be aloud on private property? I believe that it will cause trouble, in the long run. As it is on the side of a main high way.
Do you think that, the owner should be aloud to publicly display this sign in there yard, or do you think to keep the peace that it should be taken down?
I for one was offended by this sign, the town i live in, is a small one outside our states capital, and I want to see it taken down. But does this clash with the owners freedom of speech? |
