ok well me and {nasdaws} got together and decided to create a list of a bunch of scams we both use/used in RS and we both know a bunch so im going to post mine first then ill ass {nasadaws}'s when he posts them or pm's me them (either or im not sure which yet)
Ok first off heres the scams that you HAVE to have a decent amount of money for or a rich friend For this one you need armound 250-350k (for Rune T legs) buy a pair of these legs but LOOK AT THEM CLOSELY and make sure they are actualy Rune T legs then go off and buy a pair of regular rune legs and (Varok is a good place to do this) go to a town where people buy trimmed/god armour alot and say: Selling Rune T Legs 300k! (or whatever the running price is nowadays i havent played for a while) and show then Rune T legs when someone trades you then when they put up money click decline and say wtf? then they should say you declined not me and basicaly trick them into thinking it was an accident (this may take a couple times but it works) then trade them again but this time swap the Rune T legs for regular Rune legs and gratz u just made 250! :P This one you need around 1k coal and 1k iron ore Ok if you didnt like the one above this one is for you (the same concept but with iron and coal ore) well when i used to play coal was around 185e and i sold it alot so put up your coal ore and quikly swap it for iron ore (if you time this right the person should be looking at their inventory when the swap goes on if you decline once or twice they start getting pissy and they just accept because they cant concentrate on wat their buying :P ps: if you have dialup this trick works great because you lagg ALOT and the swap is practically invisible to the victims eye 
The classic Trust Game! Well you probly all know what a trust game is but if not ill tell you A trust game is when someone is going to give out/pretend to give out free money and they "Hold" your items to see who gives them the best items 3/4 of the times these are scams and belive it or not people are stupid enough to go to the game and give them their items How to do it: Well its very easy but the requirements are EXTEMLY high (alot of money or good items are neccesary so it doesnt work if your poor like me :( ) well in these games almost every single time people have to show the money/ items they are "giving" away and if you dont have the money/items you promised well... you busted! This scam works extremly well in varok first off go to the bank and get your money/items that your using and if you dont have an auto typer youll hurt your hands alot lol either walk around the West bank and say: Folow for FREE (insert item/money here)!!!!!!!!!! and chances are people will folow you like crazy then go to the castle west of the west bank and go upstairs 2nd floor and say this is a trust game and if needbe ill show every single person here the (insert money/item here) and after u show them all the money some just leave because they are jealous or still dont belive you but anyway get the best item you can and the most then log and go to a diff world! The Rune Helm Scam You will need:
1) Rune helm
2) Iron helm
3)Yet again a retard
First you need to note them then say: Selling Rune helm and when someone trades put up the rune helm and then if they put something up like say 15k say 16k? and just as they swap it change the rune helm for a iron one
then say " i g2g b quick plx!"
then right there accept it and you made some small Gp but still some Gp Ok this one is for getting peoples accounts which is alot harder now with the password stopping thing
First you will need a retard
second you will need depending on the account you want ALOT of money
This goes good if you have a lvl 3 acc and walk around Varrok saying "Buying a ___ lvl acc!
Then when you get a buyer tell them to get on the account and show you proof of it
Then show them the money on another account (DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY ON THE LVL 3 OR YOU WILL LOOSE IT FROM BANNING!) give the person half of the money after they give you the pass and if your actualy buying the account the other half after you get the recovs and pin if it was ever a member
THIS ALMOST NEVER WORKS IT WAS REALY JUST A WASTE OF MY TIME TO POST THIS UP HERE AND DONT SAY I DID NOT WARN YOU IF YOU LOOSE YOUR MONEY BECAUSE YOU HAD IT ON THE LVL 3 THAT GOT BANNED BECAUSE I WILL NOT AND I REPEAT WILL NOT RE-PAY YOU YOUR MONEY BACK EVER UNLESS I DID NOT STATE THE REASON YOU LOST YOUR MONEY
