*checks Subeta's pulse* It seems to be steady doctor! It's alive! Aliiiiveee! Erm okay, now onto our standard news post. *clears throat*
SUMMARY: The site is still in transition to their new servers and there will be additional downtime within the next day or two. After this Subeta will be fully hosted on their own servers.
OFFICIAL NEWS POST: For those of you who prefer the long version, here's the official news post from Subeta.org when it was up earlier:
Subeta has been down due to hardware related issues. The hard drive in our primary webserver failed, and we were having trouble connecting to the server to fix it.
For the past few weeks, we have been working on new servers, that we own ourselves (at the moment we rent servers) which will provide a faster, more secure Subeta - as well as the ability to add more features without having to worry about lag or the inability for the site to handle it.
We were going to roll these servers out within the next two weeks, moving the site over slowly and throttling traffic. However, this complication has caused us to move forward on this plan, and try to get things over as fast as possible, without loosing data or much time.
We're sorry for the downtime, but to make sure that it doesn't happen again soon, we will be having downtime within the next day or two. After that, we will be fully moved to new servers ! If you are unable to access subeta.org, and want an update, I will be passing updates to the staff of SubetaHQ or posting there myself.
Also, yesterday was our Third Anniversary! We planned some fun, and new items to celebrate, however we are postponing that until we are in a stable server environment. ! Thank you for playing Subeta!
