The two aren't directly related. It's not like the world had a bin full of food we all have to share equally and if the Germans eat all the key lime pie there isn't anymore left for the Swedes. The poor are fucked either way, unfortunately. They probably concern themselves with more important matters that directly affect their lives. To live sulking on what someone more privileged than you has and what you are missing can't really be called living. I don't spend all day watching TV and wishing I was Paris Hilton. I am content with what I do have and I think people who have less are too - to an extent. |
