Just read the news on the page effective Jan 2 there will be no more unbalance trades.
So hurry and stock pile and get the stuff friends own you before then.

As many people have suggested, we're planning to raise the 3,000gp staking/trading limit for certain players. This will be proportional to the number of Quest Points you have, with the top-end being ten-times what it is now! This should still offer protection from cheats, while also giving you more flexibility in your staking and trading activities.
Jagex is trying to ruin pures by making them do quest to increase there trade. Lucky for me my main is a jack of all trades meaning not pure I done all the quest.
