How to have fun on a school computer!

Okay, this has nothing to do with programming, but I didn't really know where to put it. This guide deals with a simple command.

So this is how you are going to have fun: You will learn how to remotely turn off someone else's computer on your network.
  1. Click Start, go to run, and type in "cmd.exe" and type in "shutdown -i" (Or just Start->Run->"shutdown -i").
  2. Now click the Browse button, and select someone's computer. If you don't know which computer is which, you can find out someone's computer name by right clicking "My Computer" and going to properties, and clicking the "Computer Name" tab. Make sure you do this on the computer you want to shut down, before class or something. (Note: You can choose to shut down more than one computer at once.)
  3. Uncheck the "Warn users of action" if you don't want to let them prevent this. (If you get a dialog telling you that your computer is going to shut down, you can just do Start->Run->"shutdown -a" to prevent your computer from shutting down.)
  4. For some reason, you have to put in a comment in before shutting their computer down. Type something random in, or type in "u g0t pwnt, n00b" with a wait time of 2 seconds just to gloat a bit.
  5. Now click OK and try not to snicker. (Note: If the computer you are trying to turn off is already off, you may freeze up for a while. And for some reason or another, at my school, some computers just can't get shut down. I haven't figured out why.)
If people are doing this to you, the only way I can think of protecting yourself is to download Soldat, and minimizing it (When you have Soldat minimized, you can't turn off the computer lol. Yeah odd but effective).

I get an error of "Directory cannot be accessed" at home, but this works perfectly at school. You may not have the privilege to use this command though.

Have fun~
