| Online Relationships Is it an oxymoron? Is it possible to have a successful, healthy relationship by only communicating via email, Instant Messaging, phone, and webcams?
I'm a strong believer in the fact that physical intimacy is just as important as emotional and mental intimacy, and that it can be truly difficult to connect with someone when you can't see them face to face.
Not to mention its a lot easier to deceive someone when you don't know them in real life. For example, they can give out fake pictures, lie about their lifestyle, career, and even sexuality ease.
This is why I think most, if not all internet/long distance relationship are doomed to failure.
But others disagree.
What do you think?
