Summer Festival Poetry Contest

Here it is! The first annual Writer's Haven Summer Festival Poetry Contest!

The Poetry Contest is the stomping ground for those lyrical, literary lunatics who want to really show their talent.

The contest will have two stages. First, a general entries stage. In this stage, anyone can post a poem in this thread. Users will vote on which poems are the best. Then, the contest will move into the semi-finals stage. At this point, the top three previous entries will be voted on again, then judged by Bunneh and Fewmitz. The winner of this contest will receive a HUGE rep boost. Both Fewmitz and Bunneh will +rep that person - that's more than 16 rep! This is a huge prize for the winner, and will help towards putting that person on the top ten rep list. This contest will run for a 7 days; it starts on the 1st of June and runs until the 7th.

There are a few guidelines for the entries, to make things more interesting.

Guidelines:

• Your poem must be about summer. This can be anything from an ode to summer to a discourse on the weather.
• Your poem must follow some sort of meter - that means no free-verse poems.
• When you post your poem, you have to say what type of poem it is (what meter you are using).
• Finally, your poem must have at least two stanzas.

The Top 3 of this contest, and poetry contest, will be incorporated into the writers group, their duties are to follow Bunneh around and chant in very rhythmic, poetic manner, seducing other people to join the group and INCREASE the popularity of this section threw the roof!
