Talking Short Poems [CQ]

I wrote these while at Summer Camp. It's a Military Camp, and that's pretty much what inspired me.

Here ja go

Queer

Isn’t it queer
How a new place will give
Off a new radiance, and a new way to live?
Isn’t it queer
That new places and things
Give new feelings, stones and strong wings?
Isn’t it queer
How when you think hard
Your memories escape
And carry a guard?
Isn’t it queer
That all that you do
Never comes back
But seems all so true?
Isn’t it queer
That life seems alive
When all you take part in
Is a short-ending strive?
Isn’t it queer
How looks can deceive?
Why is this so?
You’ll never retrieve.
Isn’t it sad
That you’ll never not die?
How life always ends
An eye for an eye?
Everything’s queer,
No matter the way,
But hold everything dear
Hold it to stay.

Box

Boxed up inside opinions traffic forth,
Bubbling in such decision as to perfect the mind.
Every thought carries it’s own thoughtful worth
Inside the mind things swivel and wind.

Heartbreak
Doesn’t matter who you are
Doesn’t matter where you live
A passion you hold
Is the love you give
When the love breaks apart
Or ceases to start
Heartbreak occurs
A rip of the heart
And tearing to pieces
Mental distress
Love decreases
Terror excess
You don’t know how
You don’t know why
The love you gave is no longer a vow
It’s gone on too long
The sadness is here
Depression occurs
And death is so near
But take back your love
Take back those who lay dear
Never give up
Always endear.

Here’s a poem that I turned into class for a project.
It was posted before but hell I don’t care.

Across plains of never ending gaiety
Aside the hills of rapture and hilarity
Far from the rhapsody of joy
In lieu of this great happiness
Amidst the crevices of eternal anguish
Although cloaked from vision
Down inside the abyss of terror
Failing for the slightest fluorescence
Athwart containing no boundaries of evil
Despite the sadness of these terrors
Regardless of these vile things
Before the engulfment of you
Upon your final minutes
Within your agony inducing fear
During your prayers of hope,
Prior to death,
In spite of belief,
Aside from acclaim,
Into the realization
Via the absence of a guardian
Of the absence of a guardian
Tempora mutantur, nos et mutamur in illis

Additional notes to a comment on confusion in the lines of
Aside the hills of rapture and hilarity
Far from the rhapsody of joy

The dark area of which I mention later on in the poem, is aside the hills of rapture and hilarity, which you quoted. I see how it can sound strange, but the dark area is not only aside the hills of rapture and hilarity, but also far from the rhapsody of joy. Next to, but far away from it. Quite like how people refer to people five miles away as their neighbor, because, technically, they are their neighbor, no matter the distance.... Sometimes they use the different definition of neighbor, the one I highlighted in yellow. In this case, you are referring to the second definition of aside, the one highlighted in yellow, I am using the first and third one. Anyways, I was trying to write a poem about my agnostic beliefs against god. The poem tries to imply that the god that religion speaks of made the world appear to be great fun and joy, but there was still evil in the world. They didn't notice and when they do, they realize that there is no god. God is the guardian, and only without a guardian, may you realize this, because only true evil can hand you the apprehension.

Thanks for the comments, this wasn't copy pasta (although delicious), but your comments make it seem as if someone cool wrote it. ^.^ Thanks.

More comments appreciated. Will work on changing that part, too, my English teacher loved this thing!
