| I thought both of the first books were horribly cliche and unoriginal, that the writing style was simplistic and definitely nothing that stood out, and that the books themselves were only popular because of the author's age when he wrote the first one. Honestly, I really don't like them. I read them because it's popular literature, and I like to be informed and be able to have an enlightened opinion. But I really don't enjoy them whatsoever. The fact that he's adding another book simply shows that he's enjoying the success of the series (and the money that comes with it); the books are not examples of "good" writing. At all. |
