| Like most people I also found the books a little too simple, but as I've read more and more books I've come to point at these kinds of books as Point Fiction and they do have specific traits like the lacking of specific details.. which I like and don't like, and in a book where details could have really improved the story (and the characters) this book could have used alot more detail.
As far as the second one went, it was good but not really memorable... and the *big* suspense was not very well done. Not exactly suspenseful parsay and kind of cheesy.
But, I liked this book because of the characters. That is one thing Paolini does well. |
