thats the thing, people ignore the fact that this is a forum NOT a chatroom, often times people will have their own little off-topic conversation in a thread too.

i get so annoyed reading posts like "yeah you should do that" or "yup that is so cool" "i don't know <insert more words to fill 14chars" "thanks <insert more words to fill 14chars"

Well if people bring back the 10char's, report it ( obviously if your a mod you handle it ), only one person has done it, but they were away for ages, and did not know of this rule.

The side conversations never bothered me as long as part of the post focused on the topic. Although, when people just sit there and reply back as if they were on an IM, I do see that as a problem.

Replying back is fine, but when you start getting people going "lol' or "thats funny" without a reason, then it becomes a problem.
