Suggest new rules you think should be implemented.

I think that Trial mods should get a week to prove themselves and then if they have not done better then another trial mod that was hired then they are demoted. In other words you hire 2 trial mods and then see which one is better over a week.

Ok I have followed up and read everyones post. here are some rules that havebeen said that i think should be added:

1. No Chatspeek
2. Flaming to a certain extent
3. People vote for who is mod

My first rule that is being implemented now (oh I'm just that gangster)

-The news and announcements section is not a news and discussion section, don't discuss your rules or ideas, simply suggest give reasoning and vanish into the abyss of the forums. I just got rid of what 14 posts or so that is qualified as spamming this area.

I agree on number 1 and number 3. For me, number 2 should be the UG reqs.

You may not cheat gg in any way, this is mainly because of the arcade, but also in other ways, spamming to get posts, using spam bots etc.

10. Multiple Accounts
You may not have more then one account, unless you have a staff members permission.

11. Harassment
You may not flame, tease, "bag", or harass any member, if we find you are doing this, and the victim is taking offense to it, you will be punished.

12. Capitals
You may make any post, or thread in entire capitals, if you want someones attention, simply make a thread, stating what you want. A simple "Come here bob" would be fine,even adding !!! would serve its purpose.

13. Begging
You may not beg for any hacks, if you want a hack, get into underground by contributing, it only takes 100 posts which can be made easily if you try.

If a rule isn't up there, its proberly classed as common sense.

If you do not follow these rules, you can also get offense/warnings.

You will receive stricter punishment depending on what you do, and what you've done in the past.

If anyone is caught abusing these rules, expect to be punished.

No, absolutely not.
Not to stomp on your idea but thats dumb. Staff are staff for reasons that some people can't comprehend. Its the attitude, knowledge of forums, understanding of rules, and many more aspects. Now, its easy for people to say, oh I got that!>q234!!! But giving the members the option of picking the staff makes it a popularity contest. Plus, this isn't a democracy.

I agree. Specifically a certain area opened up to allow minor subtle flaming. Basically no racist comments or comments that can be considered that harsh.

That would be good, a specific place designated for that as a "venting" Sub-Forum. Wasn't this talked about before?

And I agree with Greenman. The rule for UG should be 200 posts I believe. Since it became automatic, 200 posts ensure that the members are here to stay. That or dedicated leechers.

2. No necro-reporting (lol staff joke so most of you can't get it)

It's about time for a revision of rules. Little bits of flaming are allowed, I've made fun of every single person on gaming gutter at one point or another. Wether they knew I was is a different thing entirely. I haven't had a single infraction or warning.
