i know this has been mentioned before, but i forgot the reason why you guys said no to it. it would be cool if there was a GG irc chat that you could just have on the site with a link that would take you to it. other forum's i've been on has had them and they're always fun.

GPoints: 2,152 Rep Power: 10 | most of the commands wouldn't matter that much. it would mainly just be used for chatting and stuff. most people would just have the irc room open inside a firefox tab. and about moderating, i'm sure there would be good people willing to moderate the channel

Granted this is more of a Tony thing.
Firstly, such questions like, who would run the IRC, would it be a 24/7 open; type of deal. Would GG run it off their server? etc.
So if you want this thing to start moving, give me a list of who you feel is suitable, that can run a GG IRC, and have the knowledge to do so, then show me that people will actually participate in the IRC, and I'll try to get clockwork going on what Tony thinks of it. | |
