How ridiculous is this?

I get on the forums chat it up with a few people and some kid reports my name which i had for 3 years (skeetskeet369). Anyways, i proceeded to ask them if i could change my name at least because all that 3 years just to have some kid on the forums report my *offensive* name. They sent me back an automated reply and said no is no. I just want you peoples opinions. Do you think they are taking it to far with that?

Hmm that' s pretty ridiculous, because if you think about it, anybody's name could be "offensive" to someone else. My name could be considered offensive on this forum, it basically means Sinful Love, so that could be taken so many different ways it's not even funny.

How much did you lose?

My one account va_spi_m got frozen because the username was deemed offensive, pretty ridiculous. Vaspim_indaclub was also frozen for having an "inappropiate" username.

I had about 300,000 neopoints. But its not that its the fact of all that hard work on that account and all those days of logging in and wasting my time. They wouldn't even give me a chance to change the name! And yes any name could be taken offensively but I honestly hope they will give me a change because that's just not fair at all.

Their policy is to leave account names created some time ago, unless it's really inappropriate/offensive. Since apparently "skeet skeet" means to cum...I think that falls under their "really inappropriate" category.

Yea but don't you think a name change would be fair? I worked my ass off 3 years to get that account to where it was.

Apparently that's not easy for them to do (so they say). Even if it were, they probably wouldn't do it. TNT is never fair.

They already said in an editorial that they wouldn't allow username changes, so the only time you'll waste is your own by writing to them.
