Snowager

The Snowager is a snakelike beast that lives in the Ice Caves of Terror Mountain. It has been referred to as "Snowy" on the boards.

The Neopets Neopedia

It serves no purpose while being awake, but you can obtain a variety of treasures if you visit it while it is asleep.

Turmaculus

Also referred to as "Turmy", this huge petpet resides in the Land of Meridell.

His times are random and unknown but a few have wondered if there is a set time for Turmy to wake up.
When he is awake, it will only be for an hour and only once a day!

The link above will lead you to a petpage that is dedicated to predicting Turmy times.

If you are able to wake him up, you will be reward with items, neopoints, stat increases, or an avatar!
The avatar is received when Turmy eats your petpet. It is best to visit him with an active pet holding a non expensive petpet.
There is no way to get your petpet returned once Turmy eats it.

WHO IS TARLA??
The Neopets Neopedia
Everyone freaks out when Tarla is mentioned but sometimes she isn't the favorite of resellers. She is a pink Ixi from the Shop of Mystery in Terror Mountain.
If you catch one of her three visits a day, you will be rewarded with a gift!

If you aren't constantly eying the boards for Tarla alerts, it would be best if you just downloaded the toolbar yourself.

The toolbar offers much more such as quick links, special offers, and alerts you when you have a neomail!

The giveaway is timed and only lasts between 5-10 minutes. You have a chance to receive two different prizes.

The main prize is one everyone will get. If you go to Tarla after the orb on the toolbar is done blinking you will receive a dropped prize.
The dropped prize is completely random and could be worth nothing.

Now with that said, be aware she doesn't not come everyday. That is another perk of downloading the toolbar yourself.
If you click on the orb and go to Tarla she will say one of two things...
If it says:
"Tarla is busy with her other chores today. Make sure you have the Toolbar installed so you'll know when she is back!"
She will not be giving out any prizes that day.
If it says:
"Tarla isn't at the prize warehouse right now. She'll send you a message on your toolbar when she gets back."
She will be giving out prizes that day.

You may see people asking how many times has Tarla visited today.
Why?
Stated above, she only visits three times a day. You have a chance to get the main prize and a dropped prize once a day.
Tarla usually visits once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once later in the night.

WATCH OUT!
Think and move slowly.
Always read the links before clicking them.
Make sure they start out with neopets.com.
Some may be spelled differently and lead to a Fake Login Page or a Cookie Grabber.
This was a common scam performed around June of 2009.
