They wont suffer any "consequences". It's sex man. It seems like this kind of thing is normal over there and this is the way they can make money. Would you rather them not work and live in poverty?

So, if you all want to know, Sejiru pretty much rewrote what googlrr stated, but had to add his pompous vocabulary into the mix.
While we're at it, lets get into what? Moral objectivism.
For example, I go to Texas, kill about 40 people and make my way into Canada. Under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Canada will not surrender any prisoner to the country in which they committed the crime, if the penalty is death.
Now thats stepping on morals is it not? Being American how do you view this Sejiru? With a relativist perspective?

GPoints: 635 Rep Power: 12 | You committed the crime in the U.S. State laws says criminals will be persecuted in the state they committed the crime. I agree with this laws and would love to see justice be served, furthermore I am a fan of the death penalty but feel it needs to be hastened but thats neither here nor there. Also I was supporting my friend and venting my rage at these peoples arrogant judgments of foreign cultures while playing rockband.
This isn't a matter of morals but of law. Canada doesn't support the death penalty apparently and refuses to let one of their citizens die. Under your lawful rights this is permitted, not of a sense of morals etched into Canadian society. However if your going with the Prime Minister views this as right or wrong it'd be a different matter. If the Canadian prime minister felt it was wrong to have the death penalty and upholds the laws of the nation then I still remain solid in my beliefs and he remains so in his. Are you saying one of us is wrong and one of is right or both of us are wrong?
Also they probably know of the concepts but not the names. I've certainly known of them since the sixth grade and went over them last year in school where I learned the words. The concept is near impossible to avoid if your on a gaming site in which video games often center around such topics as morals.

GPoints: 3,285 Rep Power: 20 | What generally happens is, under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Canada negotiates alternate forms of punishment for the criminal until one is agreed upon.
Double life sentence seems much more terrifying then death in 2 seconds.
@Sej: My example wasn't to state that you were wrong or right, just an example. I learned of the terms, when I had a grade 7 History teacher, who used to be a psych prof at a local university, always wondered why he wanted to teach a bunch of snot nosed kids, versus a prof's nice salary.
Truth be told, I've been on these forums for a loooong time, and its the first time I've ever seen the terms brought up.
