I take religion for what it is, to the extent it suppose to be taken too. Just because Joey goes to church, doesn't mean I'll take his candy from his parked van outside my school.

I don't know what I think of any religion. All of it seems like it's something wrote to control people...or give those that have very little something to believe in.

I find almost all religions just to be a contest. I think it's bullshit that a set of beliefs are being convoluted by agendas other than to simply explain reality.

Catholic officials tends to have this habit of slapping an omnipotent force as the answer to everything in order to extort money, power, domination and or influence over it's constituents/believers. it almost feels like theresalways been an ulterior agenda. *there are plenty of other faiths that have done/do this, but this thread is about Catholicism so we'll save that rant for a separate thread.
