Is christianity bullshit?

Please pardon me if this is against the rules, to my knowledge it isn't.

Christianity is complete fucking bullshit, and I'm tired of it. All I ever hear all day is "God said this" or "God did this". Bullshit.

People claim that the bible contains all the moral values a person should use, but that is a laughable statement. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't consider approved rape, murder, slaughter of children and defenseless women for no reason, and selling daughters as sex slaves to be moral; I find it to be the complete opposite.

In addition to being filled with laughably immoral "moral" values, the Bible contradicts itself and is very unclear at times. There are literally hundreds of contradictions, so I can't be bothered to list them, however, some may be found at Biblical Contradictions. Even when the Bible is clear in its wording, it can be wrong. "The whole earth was of one language” (Genesis 11:1)" Any sensible person knows that is not true, since dozens of languages existed at the time where the Christians claimed Christ to have existed.

The worst thing about Christianity is how arrogant many of its followers are. Quite frankly, I don't care what religion a person follows, but I believe that a person should keep his religion to himself. Many Christians do just the opposite: just a few months ago, me and a few friends were waiting at the mall before going to a movie, and we had some Christian whackjob try to convert us. Another thing Christians do is condemn other religions and deities. Tell me, why should you get so upset when I deny the existence of your god when you laugh at the existence of gods from other religions. Lastly, when Christians aren't condemning other religions, they condemn the atheists.

"Atheists have no moral values," a Christian might say. But tell me, if Christians are so moral, then why are 76% of all violent criminals in US prisons Christian at the time of the crime? Why have the most deadly genocides of the world been started off Christian faith (like the Nazi regime)? Why has the church OPPOSED most advancements to human rights, including freedom of slaves and women's suffrage? Morals my ass.

Yeah, its weird it made it this far like a lot of other religions. Also, the Bible has been translated a ridiculous amount of times; usually by nuns. What's stopping those nuns from changing one thing to another, or just plain fucking it up?

Well for starters, I am a Christian. And a lot of the stuff you posted was, how do I say this, opinionated. I know you aren't lying about the people who try to condemn everyone and put everyone in a heaven or hell. But at the same time, there are a lot of people who are just "good Christians" I am not going to go around shoving my beliefs down everyones throat but if the subject comes up I will state my opinion. You can't judge every Christian based upon what one or two Christians have done. I can honestly say that if you live in America you have met at least 3 people that have just said, "I am a Christian." and that be the end. No fanatics. So honestly if you post on a topic like this make sure you don't give a one sided view.

I am guessing you aren't familiar with the Bible, but it was supposed to have been written over time, and then put together in later times. I am sure you know about BC, before Christ, and ad, after death. Genesis would have been written in about 5 BC. Therefore it could have been one language at the time. Then there are things about the tribes and Adam and Eve that would have changed the languages. I really don't feel like being thorough with it, but this is just like with any debate, the first thing you need to do before presenting "facts" and "contradictions" is asses the complete scenario, not just the side you are defending or proving.

Either way, religion is what and who you are. Just do it.

One, the Catholics. Catholics are the Christians with the fucked views. They honestly think that you can buy someone out of hell. If they actually read the Bible and proclaim what they say they do, they would know that the Bible says Since Jesus dies you can ask God for forgiveness. It is just the rules I guess. I don't know. I have only been to a Catholic service once and I hated it. That was where the Bullshit Christianity came into play.

Anyway, it's not just catholics.
This one Christian girl at my school constantly bitches in science class about being taught evolution, the Big Bang, etc. and shoves her religion in everyones face. She also, get this: Randomly fasts because her church told her to. Seriously, today she was like: yeah I'm on a fast.
I asked why, and she said her church told her. I said: uh......what's going on? She told me that they were just fasting. This continued and pretty much found out that her church randomly goes Lol fast tiem.

I don't know. I know that Catholics have a fucked view on what I believe the Bible is about. And what Grievous was talking about, yes hat is Catholics. And if that is the reason he decided that Christianity is bullshit then yes it is their fault. Either way I was addressing the statement that he made.
