GPoints: 106,395 Rep Power: 27 | And theres the thing....Neither of us are probably going to see eachother online even more years down the line to show and and prove "Hey, we're still together."
I remember when I was 15, I was on some forum for rateyourteacher.com or something, one of the discussions was abortions....Which I had recently had back then, so I was talking about it, I don't remember what I said, but it must've been something about Tom being there for me the whole time... Cause someone replied "Oh it's not like you guys are going to be together forever anyways" or something along the lines of that...Saying we were just another highschool fling.
I just wish I could go back to that person who said that now, and say "Hey, guess what...we ARE together still."
Obviously theres the rest of our lives, but I'm a very strange person and I can't see anyone putting up with my shit better than Tom does. It's just too bad when I'm 30yrs old, I probably won't know anyone here anymore to say "Guess what....STILL TOGETHER." to. lol.
Not that anyone questions our relationship now. xD I mean, we've been together for almost 7yrs now. If we don't know eachother by now, theres something wrong.

my boyfriend and i went to the same highschool. he was in the grade above me. we didn't date until I graduated though. i remember seeing him in highschool. i would drink some of his Pepsi everyday at lunch. without permission. but he let me. a mutual friend of ours wanted to hang out with all her friends, so that's when we started to actually get to know each other.
as it turns out, he had a crush on me in highschool. in highschool i would wander from table to table hanging out with different people for a little while. i remember when i would go outside, he would come outside and sit at the same table shortly after i did. he never said anything. i didn't think anything of it at the time.
and of course because he had a crush one me, he had a few fantasies about me in highschool too. is that creepy?
we've been together three years are attending the same Uni, which is not in our hometown. no end in sight.
i dunno about other people's high school sweat hearts relationships. that puppy love stuff is crap. passing notes. holding hands. getting yoru parents to drive you to the movies on friday nights. or maybe i'm just bitter because i never got to experience that. no one liked me in school D: or if they did, no one bothered to make a move.

GPoints: 414 Rep Power: 2 | I'm not in high school but i don't agree with high school relationships... the mind just isn't fully developed yet -- the kids dont know what they're doing (which leads to trouble). then after they graduate, most of them go to different schools and... yeah = fail

GPoints: 960 Rep Power: 2 | I don't think that high school relationships are destined to fail at all! My parents and their parents met in high school. My mother and father met the first week of their freshman year then dated on and off for about 11 years before getting married. They've been together for 22 years now. Both of their parents have been together for 50 years (and my dad's parents got married at 17 after knowing each other for only a few months!). I think that whether a relationship will work or not is about the maturity of both people, not age, and the willingness to try and work things out when it gets rough.
I'm no longer in high school myself, but I'm still with my high school boyfriend and I intend to be for a very long time.

GPoints: 1,087 Rep Power: 2 | I'm 18 in sept, and just graduated HS.
In my opinion many fail, but I believe it depends on the individual.
If they are both mature and committed, I think they could grow into a strong lifetime relationship.
