I'm not for it, nor am I against it.

Why should a drug ( Alch ) be legal when it messes you up to an extreme. And you drive drunk and kill people.. How many times do you hear about it in the news?
" Drunk man kills a car with 10 people in it "
I mean, come on.. WTF.
BUT!
A drug ( MJ ) that just causes you to relax, and eat a lot. Is illegal. How often do you hear that on the news? I havent...
" Stoned man kills a car of 10 "
Never?
What I think is.. Govt wants tax money. They tax the shit out of alch left and right. In some states, the state taxes it too!!!
So why not the MJ be legal and taxed too??
Its too wide spread already, there would be no need to sell it in the stores, its all over! So no tax dollars to be made...
So why is it illegal? Because, how much money do you think these police stations get funded to do these stings and busts left and right? How much money do you think they get when they find a stash hidden in someones bed mattress.
So in the end. I feel it is all about money. Thats that. They dont care what will kill you. What kills you cost you money right? Then its all good.
I think it should be legalized, leave the friggin people alone that wanna sit at home and toke all day. They arent the ones killing people.

Looks like this is becoming reality in the US at least. Quote: |
You know things are shifting in America when Fortune magazine, the bible for business journalism, runs a cover story titled “Is pot already legal?”. You also know it when Barack Obama’s Department of Justice publishes a long-expected memo signalling that the federal government will no longer raid medical marijuana dispensaries if they are legal under state law. That happened formally this month.

the whole "society" and "crowd" that is associated with the drug is enough of a turn off that I wouldn't want to be labeled a pot head.
