Obama or Clinton?

Well, this is mostly for the Americans for the presidential elections that are coming soon (I think).

I'm not really political, but man this election is gonna be INSANE.

I'd say Obama, since I agree with him on a lot of issues, however, I don't know too much about his political history since I only really learned about him this year. At the same time, I'm worried that Hilary will be wish-washy on some of the key issues I care about. Either way it doesn't matter too much because I'm not voting, but people who ARE registered to vote care about my opinion so... maybe it does.

Clinton.
Why?
Because no offense, but i don't think America is ready for a black president yet.
Theres racism everywhere, but i don't wanna see him put into a position where, he gets in office and is killed 3 weeks later, because of a race related issue.
Then again Clinton might have i hard too, because she's a woman, people may not respect her too well for that, or look down on her possibly. Maybe even underrate what she can do for the country.

Really, should you vote or not vote for a president simply because of their race or gender?
We have voted into office controversial presidents before. I direct you towards the year of 1961, when Kennedy was voted into office, a CATHOLIC. Indeed, he did get assassinated, but not until a few years of leaving a positive mark on America.
I would also like to point out that there have been many wannabe assassins since then, too, trying and failing miserable at killing the president.
Ideally, I think we should be voting for presidents solely on their merit, not on appearance, religion, or otherwise.

I'm not saying we shouldn't/should vote for them because of those reasons.
Those are just MY conflicting feelings, I'd like to see something different in office.
And besides, they're the best running, IMO.
I'd actually be happy more with Obama. because like you, i agree with most of his political aspects.
And like Kennedy, I think both of them could leave a positive mark on America.

I doubt she'll have PMS, seriously, and even if she was, lol, when I'm PMSing, no one can tell, and its that way for a lot of women.
I thought she'd be menopausal by now anyway. All I know is, I'm sick of hearing that.
There ARE other democratic candidates, but the only one thats sort of close in the polls to Obama or Clinton is Edwards, and I doubt he'll get in because he totally lost the gay vote.

First of all, Kennedy sucked.

Secondly, Obama has some good ideas but he's not ready to be president. Sort of like my man Mitt Romney, they should both be good candidates in the 2012 or 2016 elections and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them then.
