While I think it's a bit sad that they got knocked up at that young of an age, and I think they should have used a condom, it's wrong to kick them out of school for it. Would you fire a pregnant woman from her job simply because she started showing? No. If anything, the school should have set up some sort of optional maternity leave for the girl.

Do you really want to throw their lives off track even more by screwing them out of an education? If you get your way, they won't even be able to support the child that got them kicked out of school.
Also, if the girl gets kicked out of school, I think the boy involved should be too. He played just as big a part in the creation of the baby. And as you wouldn't want to sit next to a pregnant girl in class, I wouldn't want to sit next to the father who got his girlfriend kicked out of school.
She's brave enough to be keeping the child, why should she be punished?

But what makes you think they DIDN'T use a condom? All forms of birth control can fail. Condoms can break, you can forget to take your pill, or you can just be plain unlucky and despite the fact you did EVERYTHING right, you still get pregnant because you're amazingly fertile. It happens.

However, I think there should be a point where you have to face the consequences of your actions. If she was in a private school, they are within their rights to kick her out for whatever reason. While I don't agree with the decision and I think it's wrong, I don't think she can do much about it. So there really comes a point where you have to ask if you really need to have sex that desperately that it can't wait until a time when you won't be persecuted for the consequences of that action.

Just within the area I live, and amongst old friends from previous areas of residence, I know of at least 5 girls, ages 14-17, that are pregnant or have recently given birth. What in the hell has brought on this sudden obsession with pregnancy? And, sense when did so many girls WANT this to happen?

If she onbviously didn't use protection, you think giving her education is worth it? Does she actually pay attention to what the PE teacher says when using a condom is better then using abortion? Still though she should be able to go to school. And how the hell did the principle kick her out? Did he just write up an expulsion?

Morally, and in my opinion, I don't think they should be having kids before marriage. (Don't get me wrong; I'm all for sex before marriage and living life out and what not. But kids....that's a whole 'nother story, y'know?)
