I think religion's fine as long as you don't shove it in my face. Which as far as I understand is hard for Christians since their religion requires them to tell people about it, so I'm okay with it if they let a few things slip, but I really don't like to have someone else's beliefs forced down my throat.

I believe in God, and Jesus. I believe in all of that. Nobody in the world could ever persuade me to believe in that Scientific, Big Bang theory. It sounds like a lot of poppycock(I love that word!). Even though I'm a Christian, I wouldn't say I'm deeply religious. I go to church now and then, I pray each night and all of that. But I have a problem with one thing. If there was a person, completely perfect in every possible way, and they didn't believe in God, he'd go to jail. That's just.. That pisses me off. /: Of course nobody is perfect, and probably nobody will ever be, but one single belief, or rather disbelief, could change the fact whether you are going to Heaven or Hell. Kind of upsetting. And Christians, just like Cass said, are supposed to spread the word of God. I know a lot of people that do it, and I'm a Christian, but if they start preaching to me and I don't want to hear it, I won't listen. You can't force anyone to believe what they don't want to. Then you just turn into someone obnoxious.

I believe in the Big Bang theory because it has merit and makes sense. Since religion doesn't have proof and science has answered many questions and can be proven by tangible proof.

The Big Bang THEORY is a THEORY.

They didn't answer any questions when they came up with this giant piece of shit, they pretended to, but they pretended to by making more questions.

Personally, I am agnostic: I'm not going to believe in something I think or "know" to be true because, in short, I don't.

And for those of you who believe in the Big Bang theory over, oh say, Christianity, let's look at it this way:

Christianity:

How did we get here?
We were made.
Where?
The Garden of Eden
How?
God. God made the plants, the trees, the sky, and all the other animals.
Who made God?
...

Big Bang Theory:

How did we get here?
We evolved from fishes to mammals to humans.
Where?
The planet Earth.
How?
Billions of years ago this spec of infinite density began rapidly expanding, creating the planets, the stars, the universe.
How did this spec of infinite density come about?
...

In case you didn't see what I was getting at: It's true that the Big Bang theory provides one POSSIBLE explanation for how the universe came about, but so does just about every religion. Every theory has its holes, and the Big Bang theory is no different: It's a theory, it could be right, but there's no proof, either.

Because in the end, how are you going to prove something that happened in the middle of literally nowhere billions of years ago.

You can prove that evolution was true. Most religions don't have any proof at all. Evolution has a large amount of proof, such as fossil records.

I don't believe in any religion but I respect them. Evolution makes better sense. Not to rub shoulders the wrong way, but to me, religion seems to be a safety blanket.
