I personally think God's logic is really weird. I remember i went ot sunday school once when i was like eight, and i learned something about a guy who was tricked into saying something, and then god killed him for that. even then i was like what the hell is god smoking?

My views on religion is that, honestly, it was all made up by a couple of guys/girls way back when. It would have been the equivalent to today's Santa Claus. I personally think it started as a child's story to keep them behaved and it eventually grew, changed, and diversed into the many religions that are existent today. But that is just my view and I will probably never know if I am right or if any of us are right until the day I die.

you have a point.personally i am an atheist so i don't think it is real.

When someone can prove god to me, I will believe in him. Otherwise, he does not exist to me. Some people have told me that it's a matter of faith, but I don't buy into that. God exists when he shows himself.

Personally, I don't care much for religion. For starters, in the ten commandments in the Catholic Bible, doesn't it say "Thou shalt not have false idols before me" Meaning, don't worship anyone but God.

Religion is a joke.
If you think Scientology is a joke or a lame cult or anything like that, well every other religion is the same thing

I'm Jewish by birth, but I still don't believe in God/Messiah.

I believe that God is used as a scapegoat for wars, deaths, and the overall wrong doings in the world. Example:

Person #1: "Fred is dead."
Person #2: "Oh man... Well... at least he'll be with God."

I believe he is used to comfort the fear and pain of the world. Similar to your small child and their blanket or stuffed animal.
