Shall we tat fresh and by forgetting all of it we will be stopping people get hurt more by dwelling on the past?
Does dwelling on the past achieve anything?
---------------------------------------------
Should we always remember the holocaust for what it really was?
Should we never forgive any nazis from this day on?
By dwelling on the past are we haulting anything like this from happening again?
I have started off this thread quite differently to most, I am not really sure on my opinion, a bit of a mix so I thought I would start some good questions that could raise alot of different and interesting opinions. | |

They used it to get support from the US to invade palestinians land. =\ I'm not racist, I don't support nazis. But yeah D= I've studied it and thats the conclusion I've come too.
Edit: However countering my own post they made the point that they needed land so that they could get there own people stable, we probably wouldn't have the problem of the israeli/palestine conflict if there weren't religion. So I blame religion in genereal for that. | |

Of course Nazis should be forgiven. There have been countless studies showing that people do what they're told whether they think it is right or not. Besides, most of these people are dead. Neo-nazis are a different story, however.
I don't know. I don't usually think about it, nor do I care much. I think all religion is horrible and unstoppable. So for me, thinking about these things just irritates me because they'll always be dumbfucks killing in the name of a god instead of taking responsibility for their human nature and killing in the name of anger or greed. | |

However, for anyone that experienced such violence, it is hard for them to forgive. I mean, I know that the Chinese and Koreans still hold WWII against the Japanese - though that is a different society all together.
But basically, we should remember what happened, but not use it (like America using such an incident to police the world, or the Jews taking advantage of a land that was owned by others just generations previous).
Though we have to keep in mind that people suck, war is inevitable, and we will continue to do horrible things to ourselves until we become extinct.

That was years ago, and the nazi may even regret doing it to this day...

And since when are Nazis revoking their comments on the issue? The American Nazi Party firmly stands by Hitlers desicion to kill the damn semites. The only ones who aren't condoning the Holocaust are members of The Libertarian National Socialist Party, which is more of an economic party than a social one.
