The big problem with universal health care is that it is payed for and provided by the government. This means more government bumbling and higher taxes. Basically, people who have money end up paying to keep people who don't and sometimes who aren't even citizens healthy. It's a very socialist policy; the idea of subsidizing something generally taken care of by whoever employs you, and making the tax payers bear the brunt of it. | |
