I mean, that's the problem with the whole "is gay natural?" debate. It's all subjective.
Personally, I think religion is bad. But a religious person might think it's good. Should we take away peoples' rights based on my opinion, or the other guys? | Communist China did. Religion = illegal.

I don't think it should be allowed. For the plain reason that the catholic church will most probably be the one to marry them and just because they have the right to love too, does NOT mean that a priest should go ahead and do what the bible said not to.
EDIT:
I agree with this because if you say that, you're also saying that schizophrenia is right and should be let to take it's course. | This bible? Want some more? I can find them, or just google for yourself.
So you are of the opinion that homosexuality is a disease that crosses all boundaries?

It's the same as a man and a woman marrying, except they won't plague the world with another child. So it's a win-win situation for humanity!

llesbians sure fine by me ;)
seriously though, marriage benefits are shit in general. If anyone were to actually read about marriage benefits, at least in the US, they're mostly privileges directly related to the partnership. Often they shelter one member from paying certain taxes if the other is eligible to avoid them, or to accept money awarded to them such as a pension of some kind. That's how it should be though. There's no reason to give anything other than bare minimum benefits to people for getting married. Obviously it shouldn't matter (within certain boundary) who I marry to receive those benefits.
Acceptance within society is different. Some people aren't willing to change their sensibilities to suit a continually more progressive government. With each generation I think there are fewer people who feel it worthwhile to waste their resentment and anger on something so trivial in their lives personally. While I understand pride days and awareness movements, I'm not sure if these are really helping anyone to see things from a different point of view. They're probably heaps of fun and all, but I can't say I know anyone who has changed their mind about homosexuality through continual exposure. Many of these people have been raised in a household with a mentality that it's against their dignity and honor to associate themselves with homosexuality, and they are completely unable to change their mindset on it. Often times the things pushed upon people at a young age are irreversible, which is unfortunate.
I didn't read all 17 pages of this debate, but I have to agree with "Bunneh" in saying that the "is gay natural" argument is total bollocks. Most of the medical treatments we use to save lives everyday aren't natural, but they still save lives and we still use them. I have a hard time believing everyone who participates in the "is gay natural" is a Christian Scientist or something. That's a different debate. Cannibalism happens in nature, that doesn't fucking make it right for people start doing it.
Sorry for the tl;dr post, but overall I'd just like to say there's something called the US Constitution, and saying that gays shouldn't be allowed to marry is sort of like taking a shit on it...

On a more serious note:
No, not just says me. Says medical scientists that classify these things.
