GPoints: 22 Rep Power: 3 | I believe so, if only for the fact that they don't allow it because it's against the Christian religion, and church should have nothing to do with what laws are passed.
Marriage has been a ceremony between a man and a woman under God for a few centuries, and people raise hell based on the fact that is says in the OLD testament that men and women shall not lay with other men and women. It doesn't say anywhere in the new testament that gay people can't be together. Be that as it may, it's not for a religion to decide the rights of an entire country.

Did you know that Congress tried to pass a bill a long time ago to stop interracial marriages and they said the same bs they say now about gay marriage? Also, it's called "gay marriage" because lesbians are incorporated in that. Lesbian women will often say they are gay as the term is not exclusive to homosexual males. | |

But my thing is the trickle down effect. If you let gays get married, then do you let these cultures where the old men marry like 14 year olds get marreid legally to, then do you let people marry animals or objects. I don't want to wake up and be like oo theres a fork and a spoon getting married thats so nice. | |
