At my school, we have a debate club, and every Thursday, the debate club sets up flyers all around the school telling other's what they will debate about this week, and that they can join if they want. A couple of weeks ago, the debate was about Prostitution, and whether or not it should be legalized. 9th graders couldn't join, so I missed the debate, but I want an answer from you. Should it be legalized? What if it was funded and controlled by the government, would you agree then?
I saw a post similar to this one, but it didn't really answer my question and it was posted back in Feb.

not only is it bad to sell away your body, you are surely getting some free AIDS with the service
If it were to legalize, at least keep them hoes clean of STDs
oh and no resposability for the child if one of them gets pregnant.

If a person is willing to put him/her self in the danger of being exposed to STD's, rape, or anything else, that's on them. I'm sure those who pay for it are aware of all that could happen, much like those that are getting paid to do so. In pornography both male and female stars sell their bodies and not only have sex, but get it on film and sold worldwide for money. It's incredibly stupid not not have prostitution legalized. :/

It doesn't mean people are going to do it out in the open its like buying porn.
And if i ever have to resort to prostitution to get some i'll hopefully be so insane that i don't have any morals.

People will look down upon it but do it themselves.
Even though i honestly don't know anyone who buys prostitutes.
