Just think, in the past 10 years, how much technology has advanced. Stuff from then is considered obsolete now. In just 10 years, technology can grow so much, and human kind is advancing at an exponential rate. The more we advance, the faster we advance.
That brings me to this question. Do you think that technology has a good impact on society? It does good things, and it does bad things. It's now easier then ever to scam someone who isn't computer savvy out of thousands of dollars, or whatever currency you use. On the other hand, communications with people across the globe is that the click of your fingers, and videos, music, and games, are at your fingertips. Rape, stalking, and other cases happen more and more, as finding someone becomes easier and easier. Technology brings people across the globe closer together. It kills people. Pretty much any country can bring up a computer and in an hour thousands of people could be dead. That was more than 50 years ago. In 50 years, imagine how war would change based on what technology could do. At the same time, technology could save us from energy shortages, starvation in places, and natural disasters.
Go at it.

If people can learn to fucking put things down then it would be good. Same goes with computers, gaming systems etc.

As long as you get shit you have to do done, there's really nothing better to do. Some people need their cellphones/planners to help keep them organized, or for work reasons.

We will probably (We need to) find an alternate source of fuel other than oil, and soon
But I can see how technology will soon be able to kill tons of people in a matter of minutes...

10 years ago, not everyone had computers, cellphones and all of that. I remember being 10 and playing around with the windows 98 computers at Bestbuy, drawing in paint whenever I could. Then I remember playing around on AOL and kids games when I was like 12, when we finally got a computer, and dial up. XDD
But like, now? There's 10 year-old myspace whores. Teenagers beating people up and putting videos on myspace to cause drama and gain attention (and they did just that, and got national attention).
I don't think a majority of humanity is ready for this level of technology. People are too stupid to grasp anything or think for themselves. It's far too easy to manipulate gullible people online too.
I donno. In another 10 years, I wonder where we will be?

I don't think the world would survive without it for just 1 minute, no... 30secs.
I think that the more we depend on the technology, the more we weaken yet strengthen our selves. Weaken - because we depend on it to much, what if something in the future ends up taking technology offline for a mere few seconds? What happens if we get to a point where we literally can't live without it. Strengthen - We grow more and more, more profit, more defense and strength, abiities to discover the unknown. Such as the deep areas of the ocean, and the far out reaches of space.
Though with the rapid growing of all this technology comes downfall. Such as pollution, but yet we could develop a technology that can clean it up if possible. Though we have to get rid of all the fossil fuels that help function some technology / building of it and move on to other things.
Though as you look at it today, it seems all advanced. Though in 10 more years, what do you think will happen? :O
I can't imagine that in 10 years we will have hover craft (even though they are made >.<) and flying through space like futurama. I still imagine people farming and such.
/imacountryboysewme
It'd me cool to be able to see in the future though. At least 10 - 20 years. >

Actually he made it a few years back. Thought that'd be interesting due to your hovercraft thing.
