Honestly, from my own experience I don't think kids should be dating seriously until they are adults and can hold their own in the world. Yes it might be fun to play-date as a teen but how many of those relationships really last out of school and carry on. I know too many people from my highschool who had sex, got together and got serious, and now they are 20-23 years old with 1 or 2 kids and getting married in an unhappy relationship. Hell, most of the people didn't make it through the summer after they graduated. Once you get out of school a whole new world opens up and the people you persued are no longer interesting.

I think 'dating' is a term that should only be used for a serious relationship but it seems like it's commonly used for a short term relationship. (did I make sense at all..?) What I mean is that people say they're dating someone but most often, they aren't serious about the relationship or at least, they think they are but really, they aren't.

This. I've dated girls, and when we broke up, didn't really care all that much. My mind matures a lot faster than most people my age, though, so yeah. It differs from person to person. I know people that are 17 or up and shouldn't be dating, since they can't handle it mentally.

i started having indirect sex since kindergarten..well it was more like humping with clothes..i didnt know what dating was so yeah..we would just hump on top of each other...good times..good times

ok well 13 is concidered the "teen age" so i think there. unless they are very immature and are complete morons lol xD but i know some 13 year olds that are very matture.

I'm pretty mature, and most other teenagers are way more immature than me.

I suppose you're pretty young, huh? I don't mean that in a bad way, but I'm noticing a pattern here. Basically, when you're younger, early teens, even later really, you feel like you're mature, like you've experienced alot. As you get older, you realize that there's alot that you haven't see/experienced, and you've got alot to learn.I was like that when I was younger also. As you get older, you realize that you weren't nearly as wise as you thought at that age.

I'm noticing that pattern here. THe younger people tend to vouch for younger ages, while the older ones are saying older ages. I've already answered my opinion on this, I just felt like putting out my observations

yeah i guess youe right i think everyone that said yes is 16 and under as i saw it.
