World of Warcraft is a game, but the reason it's so popular because you can live another (and way cooler) life in another world. It literally has 2 continents, 3 if you have the expansion. and you can do anything. dance, chat, duel, play a game of 10 on 10 capture the flag (which also allows you to kill other people at the same time), do almost endless amount of quests, choose from 10 races, custimize your characters, trade, barter, sell, and put your things up for bid or buyout in a Auction House. You can also get "mounts" depending on your race, such as horses, mechanical ostriches <-- my nickname for them, and panthers. You can make friends, start a guild, and socialize with people from around the world. It's worth a try really. some people love it, some hate it.
