Recommend a serious anime?

RahXephon, Evangelion, and Robotech.

All of them are Giant Robot in nature, but all of them are serious. The last one is the most so.

I would say Air Gear, but they added WAAAY too much comic relief. I agree that Code Geass was pretty epic, that's pretty serious.

Blood+ is a good anime, if you like alot of gore then you should watch hellsing

Hmm.. if you like blood then Higurashi no Koro ni. The begining is confusing though.

Elfen Lied is a very good anime, so is Wolf's Rain =3

I would have to reccomend Basilisk, it has 24 episodes.
