I personally think this will be great if they can introduce all the characters in fast enough for it to be a decent movie. I loved watching the Avatar series on tv since it seems to be the only decent american anime.
Not releasing till 2 July 2010
Your thoughts?

- The Aang character looks a little young (and what's with the fancy arrow? xD) Edit: I know he's 12, but the character looks 9 or 10... eh. As long as the other characters like Katara don't look 17 instead of 14.
- The special effects look pretty great
- This movie had better not ruin this series. xD
Avatar has been my favorite anime series, (though I still need to watch all of the episodes... the hiatus threw me off...), and I'm really hoping that this movie will do it justice!
Also, does anyone think it will/should have more death/blood in it than the cartoon series? I know a couple of characters did die, and there were some major injuries inflicted on Iroh and Aang, but still... more realistic death and blood and such is something I would personally like to see in this movie. xD

I still think he should have killed the Fire Lord, or at least Azula. (However, that Fire Lord scene was pretty funny. xD)
All I'm hoping for is that it's at least realistic in the sense of death and injuries.

From the trailer, the special effects seem pretty good, and for a 12 year old boy, his movements seem very fluid (though at times a little shake-y) I imagine he must've gone through some intensive training to perfect his movements.
I agree with Ninja; I do hope there's at least some realistic semblance to death and all pertaining to it. Or as much as deemed appropriate for a PG-13 movie.
And, what's with the arrow on this head?!

I don't watch the tv show, but I at least know the how the characters look
and I asked my cousin, who watches, "How come they made the characters blue for the movie?"
and then he explained to me how they were seperate movies
EPIC FAIL. hahaha
