Updates for cGO
Wednesday July 11th, 2007: cGO now has GameGuard Rev 1029...

Welcome to the tutorial for registering and playing Chinese Ghost Online(cGO).
There is a little problem though, you will have some lag with attacks and looting. Not that bad though, considering you can rape everything without even bypassing.
Okay, happy because you heard that? If not, I don't care :P
On to the tutorial.

Registering for cGO.
Start off by accessing the cGO site:

Part One:

Now, you must be wondering how to get an Identification Number from China, right? It's really simple. Do it like this:

Code:

RRRRRRYYYYMMDDSSSC
R = Random Number
Y = Year Born
M = Month Born
D = Day Born
S = Sequential Number (Odd for Males, Even for Females)
C = Random Number

So, one would look like this:
123456199505134651

Date of Birth Gets filled in when you input the Chinese ID.
Also, note that the second "Real Name" has to be in Chinese, so use this one:
真实姓名

Part Three:

Log-In with the password for your account then click the button on the left.

Part Four:

Fill out some pointless information.

Part Five:

Finally, you have your account! Now you will be able to log on

Installation
Now, after you finished downloading the game, you will need to install it.
*Please note that you need to be in English codepage or else you will get Syntax errors when you install.
Just keep clicking "Next" or the middle button till it installs and wait till it finishes. Then you will have a shortcut on your Desktop that will look like this:

Playing the Game!
So you installed the game and want to play it? Okay.

Part One:

(There are five of these so don't worry if you didn't get this specific one)
Fill in your Log-In and Password on the Top Right(Tick the box if you want it to remember your log-in name) and then click that giant button on the bottom-right.

Part Two:

Most of you will get updates(About 13 or so) and that's normal. After they finish, click the Giant button on your right to enter the game.

Part Three:
Two seperate ways:
No codepages installed
Control Panel --> Regional and Language Options --> Second Tab --> Tick both boxes --> Apply --> Yes --> Yes

Codepages installed
Control Panel --> Regional and Language Options --> Third Tab --> Drop-Down list --> Chinese(PRC) --> Apply --> Yes --> Yes

Part Four:

Enjoy Chinese Ghost Online, Have Fun Playing/hacking it.

great tut thanks for posting it, but you need to uninstall MGO before you install CGO or you will get an error msg. Then you can install MGO again with no errors =)
