Underground Application Information

First and foremost, considering that the majority of people who will read this are newer members and know nothing or little to nothing of the underground. The Underground, is a specific part of the forum designed for the sole purpose of sharing information, programs, tips, tricks, hacks, etc. for online games, most common are Maplestory, Gaia Online and Neopets.

Now, the majority of users who are reading this probably want access to the underground to discuss and share such information. So I'll go on to explain to you the requirements to get yourself into the Underground.


Underground Requirements:

These must be met prior to making an application
(applications later explained)

Been here for at least 1 Month and Active
Posts: 250
Reputation: 10 (Note all users start with 5 rep, meaning it takes 5 people at most to bring you to the 10 mark)

You can find your reputation level in the User CP, scroll down past subscribed threads and there you have it.

Those requirements are the physical attributes that deem you eligible for entry, once you meet those, you may create an application.

Application Guidelines:

Firstly, I don't want your applications to be the size of a resume so I'll make it sweet and simple for both of us.

Your application should follow this style.

Why you deserve Underground status:

and links to 2 successful threads which show us you are a contributor (contributing can mean, submitted guides, posts great threads that gave people a good place to discuss the topic, etc.)

From there 3 of the any moderators will review your application, they will then skim through the quality of your posts and either post.

ACCEPTED or DENIED

With no reason attached, you may submit an application once every 15 days if you were not accepted.

It takes 3 staff members approval to grant you UG access.
If you do not get enough answers within 48 hours, you will be accepted or denied depending on the amount of replies. (Two yes = UG. Two no = No UG. One yes + one no = No UG.)

It may take a day or two for you to be added to UG, so please be patient!

I get a PM everyday about that and all but one of the people I've accepted into UG for that in the past have gone inactive after getting the programs they wanted from there.

Don't want UG to be a breeding ground for leechers.

Mhm, fair enough. I still don't think it should be disregarded entirely, just not weighted in heavily. A person who is obviously here to stay (which you can easily tell usually) and has maybe done one or two mediocre guides but a lot of giveaways should be accepted IMO

Well yeah, that's fine with me but if they just come to me and say "Hay look I did 2 giveaways UG plz" then no.
