GPoints: 44,175 Rep Power: 100 | FML My Xbox red ringed (again...again...again.) so I finally gave in and got the repair service from Microshit.
Sent it off on Saturday, mourned over the empty space where it used to sit on my dresser, got it back today. What? It came back with a nifty sticker on it that said "REFUSED BY ADDRESSEE" ...dammit.
Called up XBox support, and they said that, oh, you can't send it through the post office! ...Dammit.
So now I have to reprint the label, possibly find a new box*, go to the UPS store, and wait longer for my 'box to be repaired.
*Can you send a used postal service box for UPS?
ps. Anyone want to let me borrow their Steam account? I'm going through TF2 withdrawl.

We just use black marker to scribble over all the old information. Looks tacky, but eh. Who cares.
And wtf @ not being able to send through post office? What kind of rule is that?

GPoints: 44,175 Rep Power: 100 | Alright, well, I'm bringing the box to the UPS store then, and if I can't use it, I'll just buy one.
And yeah, it's fucking B.S., I'm ready to smack a bitch.

GPoints: 44,175 Rep Power: 100 | I think M$ is anti-USPS.
Anyways, I sent it off via UPS. It was easy and free, the guy took my post office box, taped it up, stuck the label on, and bam, done.

GPoints: 17,972 Rep Power: 11 | How long did they say the wait time for your xbox to get fixed? My fater-in-law has been through 4 xbox's with that problem, only sending 1 back over 6 months ago, while the rest sit rotting in his living room. I just bought a new one the other night and got a warranty on it so I hope I don't have to go through the RRoD problem, seeing as MS have "fixed" the issue.
