How many times have you been red ringed? And have you had any problems sending your 360 back to Microsoft?

I ask this since I just sent mine out for repair yesterday.

My first Xbox was a nightmare. It played great until a little under a month, when it red ringed. Many curses later, it was shipped off to repair *not to microsoft* (long story). The DAY I get it back, play a little, it red rings. Not wanting to ship it off AGAIN, I stuffed a shirt over the vent, which actually made it work on and off for a couple of months.
But then it finally died on me for good, and I sent it to MS. Since it was under warranty and all that good stuff, I got a different one which works great. C:

First one I got on Christmas didn't work so we had to bring that back.
A few months ago I got another RRoD so we had to send that back in.
Now we have a fan which keeps it really cool so it should be all set.
Not one of those shitty fans either.

Mine only died once but I sent it back. It took some time but now it works fine.=)

Well. I got RRoD'd about 2 months ago. Tried the towel Trick. Worked for 1 day, then it was toasted. So we took it apart, fucked it up, then bought a new Xbox. And Here I am.

I believe I have to count myself lucky not to have encountered this rather common error on my XBOX360.

Although I only got it last autumn and it is one of the new, "fixed" ones.

I was RROD'D in March, but luckily it was still at least one more week under warrenty, so I got a new one. It hasnt stopped on me....yet

I only got the RRoD'ed once and I sent it in to Microsoft and I got it back in less than a week.

Mined got the rrod like 2 years ago, so I sent it in and everything was fine untill about 4 months ago when I got it again. I tried to fix it myself because I thought it was gonna cost money to repair cause my warranty was up. Suffice it to say I couldnt repair it myself, so I went online and requested a repair. It said the cost was 0.00, lol. Its a good thing I didnt rip the warranty sticker.

I have never had rrod, but I've had about 4 360 (I never made up my mind and traded a lot of them in for something else).

My father in law has had 6 rrod and refuses to buy anymore 360s. Personally, I think it was something he did.
