GPoints: 44 Rep Power: 8 | XBOX 360 Question Okay, I have two questions because I have one and it confuses me.
1. Can old Xbox games be played on the 360?
I really want to get Silent Hill and the old Resident Evil games because they don't have new ones out for the 360. Will they play?
2. What do the achievement points do for you?
Can you buy stuff with them? Are they for online rank? Or are they just there for decoration?

Achievement points do nothing, they are just 'bragging' rights, or gloating rights to other xbox360 users.

But the read of that is true. Most popular games work, because they're the ones that are most focused on when updating.

Dang that sucks, only SH 2 +4 and no RE.
I still have my old XBox so it shouldn't be a problem.

As far as achievements, they're just bragging rights, nothing more.

The 360 shredded the disc.

If not, just press eject on the 360, and take a look at the disk tray.
