Well so yesterday night I was trying to get my iPod to play on my 360 so I could listen to some music while I play Test Drive and what happens you ask?
My 360 wouldn't detect my iPod. So I went on google and found the info I needed.
Due to a frimware update for the iPod it has render most iPods unless for Xbox 360 T_T
I did find a work around.
If you really want your iPod to play or be detected on your 360 you must restore your iPod to it's manufactured state. Which means all music, videos, games, or pictures will be deleted.
After that you can put your music back in just make sure not to update your iPod to 1.2.3.
This issue is common with 5th Gen iPod's

Also.. wouldnt it be easier to just rip music to the 360's harddrive and play it from there? | |

No, in all seriousness, I have no clue why, my ps3 reads everything I connect it to, hell I just use its media search feature and it tears through my computer itself and locates all my playlists, etc. | |
