XBOX or PS3

Which one is better, you decide. Judge on all aspects of them eg graphics, game play, online capabilites etc etc.

PS3 all the way. I'm not paying 100$ for wifi and 70$ a year for internet play for the 360. The 33% failure rate doesn't help the 360 either. All the games are just the same shooter over and over. The PS3 has games that I like, free wifi and free online. Some games I want to get are Assassins Creed, Ratchet and Clank, Warhawk, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Drake's Fortune, Eye of Judgment, and a couple others. Not to mention all the great games they have lined up.

I would like to say the PS3 but I can't because I don't have one, although I have a 360.
I've looked at a lot of games for the 360 and the only games that really interest me are Halo and Gears of War, as well as Assassin's Creed but I do not have that yet.

So yes, I basically got the 360 because I wanted Halo and Gears of War.

Ps3, Its simple really, ps3 has better graphics and they have online play for FREE. Not to mention you can hook up internet to it(I did) and have a secret lil porn stash stored on it. The games are getting better and better as time goes on and they do not try to rip you off by charging for every damn single thing that is a add on and is not in the game, like 360.

So go out there and tell your parents to get you a Ps3 for Christmas, or buy one for you, but say its for your son, but it was secretly for you.

I really don't know why are you all hating on xbox360. That's another thing how are you going to make a topic in the xbox360 forum and label the title xbox vs. ps3 i mean it's not xbox were talking about.

Anyways the online is worth it on the xbox360 yes they have the little scams for buying extra add-ons but fuck, at least we have add-ons for our games?

Just because your online free, that doesn't make it better? On our online we can go through private chats with friends while playing different games. We can even talk to them while they are using the xbox360 emulator playing old xbox games online.

Also on our xbox system we can have playlist setup on our xbox live menu and play music while playing a game. So if your in a game of halo you can be listening to something that gets pumped for your game.

Now not to be much of a dick ridin on the xbox360 having that long discussion on the pros about its online, but what the ps3 does have and the xbox360 doesn't beat in apparently is graphics.

Okay it's super and all that you want the best graphics, but does that really matter to have graphics when you have a shitty or normal (non LCD/Plasma) T.V.s? I mean yeah more people are buying LCD's and Plasma's but for what price? The only way to get ps3 to its top-notch graphics is getting a new plasma/lcd screen tv thats like 50'' (no-homo).

and after spending all that money atm PS3 has no Multi-Platinum selling hits that did a GREAT job in game making. I know a lot of you ps3 lovers out there say "Oh XBOX360 came out a year later", and "Oh people only like xbox360 because of halo" well your half right. A lot of people bought the xbox360 w/ halo 3 in the special.

What xbox360 is now 2 years old now? and we already got our most anticipated game for the console. Even before that game we already had amazing exclusives (Gears of War, Saint's Row, Condemned, and Bioshock)

That's bullshit half the games you listed are shooters and those games aren't even excellent. How is it same old same old it's on demand so if you don't like it don't buy it.

and that doesn't matter because both of those games online sucked after Call of Duty 4 came out
The only great games on the PS3 right now are. . .

1./2. Call of Duty 4/Assassin's Creed (you can go either way) They are for both systems
3. Rainbow Six Vegas ( came out LONG TIME AGO for 360)
4. Warhawk (not really. . .)
5. Oblivion

Now games expected on the PS3 the only games I wanted for this george foreman grill are:
1. METAL GEAR SOLID 4: Guns of the Patriots
2. SOCOM 4
3. Resident Evil 5 (oops nevermind its going to be on the xbox360.)
4. Future Mortal Kombat ( will probably be better on sony as usual)
5. A Future FF

and the first 2 games were multi-million dollar games that sold over millions of copies, and guess what? They are an action w/ shooting and a shooter.

So kids if you want a real system with at least something that will keep you couped inside warm (and i don't mean the heater) instead of outside shoveling the driveway. go out and buy a xbox360 for christmas.

Actually, the only shooters there are ROTC, which isn't really a typical shooter, if you ever played it. Drakes fortune has more then just shooting, like puzzles and such. Warhawk is an air combat game. None of the others were shooters. The 360's emulation fucked up all the Xbox games that I liked, and I bet you've never even played a PS3. I own a 360. I hate the piece of trash. All the addons you could buy the PS3 comes with, and not to mention, Home. As soon as that comes out the 360's online will be trashed. You don't need the best TV out there either. The PS3 has great graphics even on standard definition, and is godly on an HDTV. Your still not addressing the fact that I can play, oh whats that you say? Blu-Ray movies on my PS3. Can your 360 say the same? The only reason those are the only games you like are because you've never played the others, and your obsessed with shooters.

Regarding MGS:
It's a stealth shooter. Deal with it.

I have both the PS3 and Xbox 360. My vote goes to the PS3 just because my freaking xbox died every two months for the first year because of overheating. I bought a cooling fan to assist it but that thing makes the biggest racket.
