So after some googling, and the little heat its causing here at GG it really got me interested. I mean, how good can corum be? So now I find myself downloading this newly introduced MMORPG and I'm reading through the beginners guide finding this game to be rather interesting. It seems to hold the basics as should all MMORPGs, but with some cool new added features introduced solely to corum online.
Of course you got the ever popular fighter, with strong offensive skills and exceptional close range combat skills. The fighter also have aura abilities with give him and other units great stat/skill benefits. Such aura skills like, Rs Aura, allow for fast movement speeds. Out of all classes, the warrior has the highest amount of stamina, physical offense power and defense power.
Next on the list is the Ranger, The ranger is a multi-task unit that in some ways remind me of a assassin, with the use of Chakra (energy) the ranger is quite the exceptional class at tracking, concealment, poisoning, assassination, etc.) Unlike the warrior, the ranger is quite capable of taking on multiple units at once, the only draw back is the lacking stamina, because as she uses charka her power is depleted. The ranger has the highest offensive accuracy and evasion skills of any class, with high physical and defense power along side with the use of charka the ranger is a force to be reckoned with. Most of her skills that consume the use of charka are the ninja abilities. One of the most impressive abilities the ranger has, is the ability to mimic the skills of other classes. The strength of her defense and offensive skills increase when there is more charka, and same goes vice versa. Compared to the warrior, the Ranger has less defense and HP, but when charka is at its maxed, the ranger can easily exceed the warriors offensive abilities.
The next class, Sorceress, the powerful magical abilities are derived from Mana, due to this explodingly strong skills she is very weak against small amounts of fast units due to the fact of the cool down period in between casting. The Sorc's (sorceress) mana consuming spells can due large amounts of damage to multiple units, though, the stronger the spell the longer the cool down. In most cases, sorc's need a good party to defend well during her casting times, but this is not always true, for high level sorc's are capable of casting multiple spells which renders many monsters useless because of multiple targeting her defense can be her offense. As spells are casted Mana is consumed, of course mana regeneration can be altered with special skills and items.
The Priest, the best supportive class of all, with the ability to cast curses on enemies, heal and strengthen friendly units and dispell curses, having a priest on your side can make a mountain of a difference. The priest like mentioned, usually finds his role assisting other classes, but is well capable of defending himself because the priest has the third highest physical strength behind the ranger and warrior. Most of the priests skills do not require SP, because of this, if the priest is not determined to train in skills of another classes, not many bonus points will be needed to be distributed into INT. The Divine skill of the priest has the ability to increase valuable buffs that are important in battle such as recovery, protection, offense, defense, offense success ratio and evasion ratio, these buffs make the priest essential to any party. The overdrive skill of the priest has the power to seal in opposing monsters or players, which is essential for taking down powerful units and extremely good in guild wars or party wars (types of PvP) In many cases the priest is extremely effective against the sorc.
The summoner, as obvious as it is, his main skill is the ability to summon beasts from the other worlds, another strong ability the summoner has, is the ability to get into a monsters head to confuse or control the beast. The summoning powers of the summoner makes it possible for him to control multiple beasts that act as subordinates. Though there is a limit and contracts must be made with the beast for it to be summoned in the future when found useless at a period of the game. Once the summoner is extremely powerful, it is capable of summoning other characters from different servers, the summoner is the only character capable of charming more then 1 guardian at a time.
Arcus, you might be confused due to the name, but nonetheless the Arcus is just a female archer in tight clothing and heels. The arcus is the bow-wielder of the herd, and with exceptional ranged shooting speed and accuracy to match, the Arcus is a strong. Alike the summoner, the Arcus is capable of controlling herds of monsters, which is a unique skill for her class. By coaxing the beasts into doing her bidding with feeding the special herbs the Arcus is quite the shifty class. Also, the Arcus has the ability to shift and control winds, this skill is called windy.
That covers the classes of Corum.
Alike many RPGs, Corum also has an alignment system integrated into it. The alignment system goes as follows:
