differnce between, fighter's weapons??

I was thinking whats the difference between swords, axes, spears and maces.... and if fighters can use them all with all the skills ??

The skills work with all the weapons (except for the weapon-specific passives of course). The main difference is attack speeds and dmg range. One-handed swords tend to be the fastest choice, while axes have a higher max dmg, but lower minimum dmg than 2-handed swords.

Faster weapons like one handers, as SirEmily said, will probably do less damage than 2 handers or axes, which are both slow. If you have weak armor, slow weapons are not to your advantage, as the enemy will deliver more damage to you. While with a fast weapon you have a good chance of defeating the enemy quicker. I'd stick with swords or axes, maces aren't that impressive.

I personally am going mostly str, so I can't hit an enemy without using bash. More dmg is better in my case, because the less hits it takes me to kill an enemy, the less dmg I take.
