Success rate for...??

Does anyone know what the success rates for upgrading items with the different liquids are? I'm wanting to upgrade my quest weapons, but I'm worried that I might break it and have to get a new one...

The game says it's guaranteed before +4. But you have to note that items with 6+ slots are considered at +4 already.

So those quest items are already considered +4, so upgrading will be risky.

It's best to stay with what you have, unless your willing to take a risk. Unfortunately, that's how these games work, you have to experiment and see what happens. I remember screwing up my character in another game due to not distributing the stats. correctly, and the same goes for upgrades. Except items are more easy to recover. So even if the item does break, you will eventually get the same one back or even a better one.
