But as for the point of being atheist, PERSONALLY for me, I do not feel I require help from someone that I cannot bring myself to believe in. Even in my worst times, I use my own common sense to see that things are not that bad. I am my own shoulder.

Because, you can't say "well, god sounds like a good idea, because even though deep down I feel he does not exist, I'm going to lie to myself and everyone around me to try to sleeze my way into heaven."

I don't believe there is a god. Flat out. And I will never even attempt to force myself to believe otherwise out of some minor belief (which I don't even have) that I MIGHT get to go to heaven.

And atheists aren't all rebels and teenagers and emofags. ;) Atheism isn't so much the lack of faith in god. It's more of a faith in yourself and mankind. I have enough faith in myself that I do not need a god to fall back on.

Can't we, just for once, back up and see that kindness is the key to convincing people that your way of thinking is right?
Do you really think smacking a kid in the face with his notebook is going to make him want to learn? It's the same principle. Don't smakc people in the face with you're bible. You'll only puch them away.

I didn't bash the bible, I simply called you bible boy, which is correct is it not? You believe in the bible and all your worship, don't you? Oh btw, I also want to add that religion should be about having Faith in the higher being that created us/we believe created us. Forget the bible for a minute and think like this: "The bible was written by man. Man sins. Man has no direct communication with God other than the voice in his head similar to his conscience. Do you ever wonder if it's God you hear or your own thoughts?"
