I have to say the drawing tools in photoshop are about a billion times better than paint shop pro, I THANK WHOEVER SAID I SHOULD USE PHOTOSHOP!

Is that suppose to be a reflective surface? You're using a shitty way to represent that.Usual reflections tend to be more brighter, learn how to manipulate the gradient a little better.
Also try some more complex things.

It's a rectangle with a white stroke, and inner gradient D=.
Not sure what to say about it, other then nice start (assuming you're just now learning PS).
