.::/Proxy search plug-in for firefox\::.

This is what firefox search is:

The other day I wanted a add-on for FF,
so I could search for torrents / movies easily.

So I google'd how to make one, found out how and it worked.

So today I thought it would be cool to search proxies fast.
So I edited the one I made for megavideo, and it ended up working.

-----------------HOW TO USE------------------
In order to use, you have to download the file.
Move it from the file at where it was sent.

Move it here:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins

Once that is finished, start up, or restart firefox.

It will be in there search area (not the address bar)

In order for it to work, you have to take off the:
http:// and the / at the end of .com / .org / etc.

Example:

Welcome to Gaia | Gaia Online

Some of the proxies will not work.
I have it set to choose a random proxy each time you enter a url / hit enter.

Some of the proxies will not work some will.

Some will be fast, some will be slow.

I am not responsible for any of the proxies there.

sounds like a cool idea... but why not just use tor?

Cause tor takes up about a tool'bars space, which I don't want to use another tool bar.
Also its bigger in file size than the one I made.
Mine only takes up 1kb (after you extract from the zip file...)
It doesn't take up much room on firefox.
You easily search a site: e.g = Welcome to Gaia | Gaia Online

Its really up to the person who chooses what they want to use.

I just thought I would share it.

sounds cool. i might get it because tor doesn't work for me on my newer computer =P

What kind of computer do you have?

Oh, and I don't know if it works with anything other than Windows XP // (maybe, vista also)

It is easier / smaller than tor in my opinion. Also has like... 5,000 - 20,000 proxies that it randomly goes through each time you search a site.
