I don't know if it's true though, it's old and I got alot of feedback for it. I quit Runescape, because it sucks horse cock, but here's my guide for those who play the ass licking game.. =)

Lobster Fest <Rating 7/10>
Go to the fishing store South of Falador and buy raw lobsters for 100 - 200 each. Buy about 750+ lobsters for 75k+. This takes a little while, but now go to world 1, and sell the lobsters for 300 gp a lobster!
You bought the lobsters for 75k+, and have made 100k+ money selling them! Keep doing this, and make lots of money...
Runes Runes, And More Runes - For this you need to be a member. <Rating 6/10>
Go to Edgeville. There is a river East of it, follow it North in to the wilderness until the river ends. There will be a Zamorak mage there, trade with him, buy out all of his death runes for a reasonable price. Now go to Varrock, world 1, and sell all of the runes you bought.
Lots of people will buy them for a higher price than you bought them for from the mage. You will find that you have just made a profit! Keep doings this, and make lots of money...
You can also do this with Chaos runes.
Server Updated <Rating 7/10>
Now this is a way to buy lots and lots of items from a shop. What you do is, wait until a Runescape server is being updated, watch it until it comes back up, then quickly log on. Now go to the shop you want to buy any items from, and buy out an item (I.E. The Rangers shop in varrock, or the Rune shop in Varrock).
You now sell ALL the items you just bought for a higher price than what you bought it for! You will make a big profit.
Monster Mash? - For this you need to be a member. <Rating 9/10>
Go to the Kalphite Queen with a group of high levels thinking they can kill her. Stay away from all of the monsters!After a while, likely one of the people will die! You then run in, and take their items!
The people that go to kill the Kalphite Queen will usually have good items, because well, they are trying to kill the strongest monster in the game!
If it works out all right, you will get lots of money/items.

Rune Plates Please! <Rating 4/10>
In Runescape say "Buying Rune Plates 111k!". When someone offers to trade with you, accept and put up 11100gp (11.1k). Most noobs will accept thinking it is 111k.
You have just made a profit, keep doing this, and you will make tons of money. Your account will most likely get banned though for item scamming if you do it to much.

Whippy Whippy! - For this you need to be a member, you must level 60+, and you need (4) Torags Hammers in note form. <Rating 9/10>
Find someone with a Whip, and say "Hey, can you help me with something?". They will most likely say "Sure", or something similar to that. You tell them "My clan leader said he would pay me 6m if I could kill someone with a whip, and I was thinking if I could maybe fake kill you,?".
Also, tell the person "I will give you 3m if you do this". They will most likely go for it. Tell them to bring nothing in to the wilderness but the Whip. Now you bring them in to the wilderness and tell them "I will attack you and kill you, so don't attack back please!".
Get them low health, trade them and give them the (4) Torags Hammers. Tell them to accept (If they don't your screwed, and will have to start again). Once they accept, you kill them! They will drop the Whip instead of the (4) Torags Hammers! You've just made over 2m!

- An all around place to PK for all levels is the Black Knights Castle, go there if you want to have fun.
