iBot is basically a macro for Runescape. It was created by ruler and started with SCAR, then became its own program eventually. The official website for iBot is
http://www.rscheata.net.

Download and Installation.
Here is the download link for iBot lite. There are 2 other versions, but you have to pay to get them. (I sell pins for one, more on this later)
[click]
Installing Componnents.
You'll need
winrar to unzip the file.
You'll also need at least
Java 6.0
Installing Java.
1. Download it.
2. Run it and install it.
3. Now once it is fully installed we will need to set Environmental Variables.
4. Right click on My Computer on your desktop or start bar and click Properties.
5. Go to the Advanced Tab and click on Environmental Variables.
6. In the bottom box called "System Variables" look for the variable PATH. Once you find it, click on it then click Edit.
7. Delete the semicolon at the end add this to the end:
Code:
;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_02\bin;
then click OK.
8. Congratulations, your Java is now up to date.
Installing the iBot
First step) Double click the file wherever you placed it.
2nd) Make sure you extract all files into C://Impsoft
~You should have these files in your folder.
-bitmaps
-config
-jars
-Scripts
-auth
-install
-install.sh
-License
-log4j.properties
3rd) Wait until it's all done and double click on 'install.bat'.
~You should now have these files/folders inside Lite1672.
-compile-by-regex (this is your compile file)
-compile-default (old compile file, a low slower)
-run (how to start nexus)
-run-with-cmd (start nexus but with cmd)
-run-with-cmd-low-ram (start nexus with cmd and low ram)
4th) Wait until that's done and click the regrex compiler in your iBot folder.
5th) You can now run your iBot. ^__^
If you want to continue...
6th) Double click your run.bat and press any key when it says to.
7th) When the welcome message pops up, press 'OK'
8th) Now iBot will want to know if you want to run the Bot Monitor (you need a paid version). Selecting 'yes' will run using more resources, and it will let you review all your Bots on one page. If you want to run as many bots as possible, select 'no'.
9th) The first time you run iBot, you can only select Signed applet. Don't use any bots the first time, because Signed is a lot more detectable and you may get banned. Unsigned is slower, and there's a lower chance of your account being banned.
10th) Now select 'Add a bot'
11) Select your server (click on the number of the server you want to go on). The servers are assorted by population (lowest to highest). Then go 'Next'.
12) Type in your username and password, then click on 'Add'. This will keep your username and password saved for every time you use iBot. Select your username from the list and go to 'Next'
13) Select your added account again and click 'Next'
14) Select your script.

15) W00t, you're done with your first iBot startup! From here, you can explore or restart iBot to go on an Unsigned applet.
Scripts.
They can be found at the RSCA official forums of course!

If you're too lazy to look around, here's a link that takes you to the section.
[Free!]
[Pay!]
Alternatively, the lite and pro versions come with scripts for free. I'm not sure about Ares, though.
Compiling the Scripts.
You'll need to download and install
Notepad++.
You'll also need a script you want to use.
Step 1 - Run notepad and copy the script (from the 1st import to the last '}'), then paste it in.
Step 2 - Search (ctrl + f) in Notepad++ for the line "public class".
Step 3 - Highlight the word directly after "public class". This is the script name. Copy this (ctrl + c).
Step 4 - Save the document and paste the script name into the 'name' box. Add a ".java" to the end and set the box under it as 'all files' Save it to one of your folders in your 'Scripts' folder. (I used Walkers, or pro in PRO version)
Step 5 - Browse to the iBot folder for the reg. compiler and double click it.
Step 6 - When it is done compiling, "press any key to continue."
Step 7 - There should be another file where you saved your script with the same name, only it will be a .class file.
Step 8 - Run iBot to see if it worked. =)
Step 9 - If it worked, congratulations! If not, try again or PM me or Zim.
